Supporting students is always critical, but now more than ever. PLEASE DONATE

Thank you for a successful Reach Higher event!

Your support helped us raise money for student scholarships and emergency funding.

A Message from Our College President, Ivan L. Harrell, II, Ph.D.

Dear Friends,
These are unprecedented times.  Throughout this crisis the Tacoma Community College faculty and staff have banded together to adjust the way that we conduct business, all in an effort to provide students with a stable learning environment.

Although this is the case, we know that the needs of our students will grow substantially as this global crisis continues.  This is where we need your help.

The Tacoma Community College Foundation has established a fund to specifically assist our students who have been impacted financially by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

This fund, named the TCC Foundation COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund, will be a critical tool to help TCC students succeed in spring quarter, which begins on April 6, 2020.

The TCC Foundation COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund will provide funds for a variety of anticipated (and unanticipated) emergencies such as food insecurity, technology needs for on-line learning, housing and utility expenses, transportation, and child care expenses.

This is a difficult time for all of us.  The pathway forward is in many ways unknown and has created unforeseen challenges for our community.  But we do know that when we come together to work our way through this crisis, we create strength and a sense of purpose.  That is the TCC Titan way.

We can help our students with the realities of unexpected expenses so that they may complete their course work over the next 90 days. We ask that you help TCC students through this difficult time, and enable them to do their best to focus on their education.

Please visit the TCC Foundation page at and make a donation to the TCC Foundation COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund today.

Where Education Changes Lives

Since 1967, Tacoma Community College Foundation scholarships have helped students to earn technical certificates or complete two-year associate’s degrees to pursue the remainder of their undergraduate studies at a college or university, advance in their career or succeed in a new career.

Foundation scholarships have impacted the lives of thousands of TCC students, who come from different backgrounds but share one belief – that education can change and improve their lives.

Apply for a Scholarship

I am truly grateful for winning a scholarship offered by the TCC foundation. The scholarship helps me out tremendously in staying out of debt. Anyone who desires to move ahead, make a change in life or make a difference can find their place here at TCC. All are welcome.”
