Policy

The college will develop practices and procedure which address the conduct of safe instructional activities in classrooms, laboratories, and clinical sites where learning requires the use of human subjects as part of the training procedures, demonstrations, or experiments.

To ensure all educational programs establish procedures for safe instructional activities.

Procedure

Each instructional and educational services division of the college establishes and publishes protocol and procedures for ensuring all instructional activities in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical sites where learning requires the use of human subjects as part of training procedures, demonstrations, or experiments.  These protocols and procedures shall adhere to all federal, state, and local laws pertaining to safe educational practice and human subject requirements.
