Dr. Davi Kallman is Director of Access Services at Tacoma Community College. She received her PhD in Health Communication from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at WSU and her Masters and Bachelors in communication from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Kallman uses media literacy and other media-based interventions to break down prejudices and stereotypes in institutional settings. As the Program Director of Access Services at Tacoma Community College (TCC), she applies her research on disability in higher education to help students get the accommodations they need and deserve. Kallman also serves as TCC's 504/A.D.A. Coordinator. In this role she works with TCC students, faculty, and staff to ensure that student disability rights are upheld. She lives in Lakewood, Washington with her husband Kyle and their four cats, Mozzy, PomPom, Ash, and Leeloo and Bullmastiff puppy, Josie. Go Titans!
