Laquida Williams earned and received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, while also working as a work-study student in the Access Services Center at Pierce College and raising her family. She continued her education at Evergreen State College, where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts. She worked at Pierce College as the Assistive Technology Coordinator for a combined 13+ years, earning both her Certificate in Advanced Professional Development for Assistive Technology Applications and her Certificate in Supervision and Management during her time there. She joined the TCC community in September 2019 as the Access Services Alternative Format and Assistive Technology Coordinator. She is a proud resident of the Hilltop area in Tacoma, Washington with her husband of 21 years, Jonathan. She has a 15-year-old mixed Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso named Lady. Four amazing young adult children, two boys & two girls. She has four beautiful grandchildren.
