Get a Free Bus Pass and Ride Pierce Transit Routes All Quarter Long

This is a pilot program to introduce public transportation services to current TCC students. This program aims to build a culture of using public transportation services by providing easy, convenient, access to students. We introduced a digital bus pass this winter quarter via the HOPTHRU mobile app. If you got a digital pass during winter quarter, you don't have to apply for a new one.

How to get your free TCC Student Bus Pass:

Order your student pass online.
You will receive an email from HOPTHRU within a few days to set up your mobile app.

How to get your physical ORCA Pass:

If you would prefer a physical ORCA bus pass, please fill out this form. Your pass will be mailed to you.

STUDENT ID CARDS

If you do not currently have a student ID card (not mandatory) and would like to request one, please fill out this form.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the TCC Student Bus pass.

- All students enrolled at TCC for the current quarter.
- All Pierce Transit Routes at all times.
- Any other services added to your TCC Student Card will be your responsibility to pay for.
- The winter 2021 pass is valid through the first week of spring quarter. If you applied for a pass during winter quarter, you don't have to re-apply for spring quarter.
- You can keep your personal bus pass but must apply for the TCC digital pass or physical card to receive the discount..
- Any other services added to your TCC Student Card will be lost between quarters. Please consider using a different card for additional services.
If you opt to get the physical ORCA card, you can purchase a replacement card for $10 via the same process. Your lost card will be deactivated when you receive your replacement card. There is no limit on the number of replacement cards you can purchase.
