Titan Technology Resources

Laptops

Students can also borrow laptops from the library and can check out a laptop for the remainder of the term. The library is open M-F 9 am-5 pm. They can also call us for more information: 253.566.5087.

The Information Commons lends laptops, and they are currently open M-F 8 am - 6 pm. Students can contact us at support@tacomacc.edu or 253-566-5176

Internet Service

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the TCC Foundation is teaming up with Rainier Connect to offer free high-speed Internet access for students who do not currently have home internet access to successfully participate in online learning.

This is free internet access, for the remainder of the academic year, to currently enrolled students who do not have WiFi at their current residence. Students who are eligible to participate will have their current address cross-matched with Rainier Connect’s service area.    

Send an email to FREEWIFI@tacomacc.edu and include:

  • your name
  • student ID number
  • current address

Once qualified a TCC representative will reach out to you to inform you about the program and describe the next steps to get connected.

Hotspots

If you are not in the service area for Rainier Connect, or otherwise cannot access the Internet, the College will provide you with a wireless hotspot. Please contact FREEWiFi@tacomacc.edu with the information requested above to find out about your options. `
